International Women's Day

International Women’s Day is a day of all women! March 10, 2021 a team of volunteers visited Petrikov closed type educational institution. The program was relatively short, since it takes quite a lot to get to the destination – 4 hours one way. This, of course, does not stop volunteers and contacts persons from spending time with girls, wish them well on the 8^th of March and simple have some quality time together. During the first minutes of the meeting, the team congratulated girls, played some games to get to know each other better. This helped create a pleasant atmosphere for communicating. Contact persons had a chance to talk to the children they are in contact with, newly-accepted children talked to volunteers from their region. Children told volunteers about their problems, dwelled on some issues concerning their stay at the institution. They also asked for information regarding their further education, universities, entry requirements, etc.
