On April 26 “World Without Borders” together with first-year students of the specialty “social work” of the RSSU branch in Minsk, employees of the Metropolitan, organized a visit to the Minsk Metro Museum for young people with disabilities from the social volunteer club. The event was planned by appointment, taking into account all the features. The guide Irina Konstantinovna conducted an interesting excursion. Museum visitors received information about the construction and development of the Minsk Metro.
For people with disabilities, there was an opportunity to visit one of the most interesting locations of the museum - a real driver's cab, to press the buttons of the remote control that used to be at the station, to feel like an employee of the subway. The most pleasant thing was watching the smiles of young people. Everyone liked the tour. Metro employees gained experience in communication and interaction with people with disabilities.
It is important that our urban transport, including in the subway, become inclusive, we all together help develop a culture of communication with people with disabilities from a position of equality and dignity.
For the first time there were special guests at the Minsk Metro Museum
