How many good deeds people do around us: someone helps animals, someone leads a grandmother across the road, someone just said a kind word to another person. But all these people do it not expecting anything in return, because "Every good deed is a reward itself" as Alexandre Dumas said it.
Once again, we would like to express gratitude to all our volunteers and contact friends for how much they do for the teenagers in conflict with the law. After all, this is a great work that cannot be noticed right away. Contact friends provide assistance and support to students and graduates of closed type institutions in various forms: correspondence with paper letters, weekly calls, meetings, problem solving, conversations during visits to institutions and much more. All these thinks could be easily used by every person, and especially for boys and girls who are in difficult life situations. Volunteers and contact friends relate with understanding and responsibility to what they are doing, each of them invests not only his/her time, but also their soul in every new acquaintance and mentee.
Volunteers provide their support throughout the whole year. There I no such a thing as a ‘vacation’. All activities organized by our organization do not take place without the participation of volunteers. They are our hands and feet, eyes and ears. The life of the “World without Borders” could not have been so unlimited if it were nor for all that unlimited love contact persons give to the teenagers. At the end of the outgoing 2018, the organization decided to get together with all the volunteers and contact persons, in order not only to summarize, but also to express gratitude for the work.
More than 30 volunteers and contact persons gathered, they came with their families and children to share the joy of communication with each other. Most of the time, when participating in events, volunteers help with something, do something, and here, they just relaxed, played, talked and had fun. Quality time with good people. The event summed up the outgoing year, recalled the funniest and bright moments from the life of volunteers, and wished all the good for the new year.
The Charitable Public Association “World without Borders” once again expresses gratitude to all volunteers, contact friends and colleagues and wishes them good health, prosperity and well-being in the new year! And remember that a small manifestation of love can make big changes.
