Round table “Formation of an inclusive society by means of alternative and additional communication”
June 11 (Thursday) from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
What are we talking about:
• Do all people need to be able to use alternative means of communication?
• Why is the widespread use of alternative means of communication so slow in Belarus?
• How is an inclusive society formed in Sweden?
• What are specialists doing for the social adaptation of non-speech children and people in Russia and Ukraine?
Speakers:
• Malin Brandt Oberg (deputy principal, teacher and physiotherapist), Marianne Kolle (speech therapist), Karina Fredriksson (assistant teacher and nurse) - representatives of the Habiliteket school (Sweden);
• Irina Tekotskaya, Specialist in ADK CHOU DPO “Social School of Caritas”, President of the Association of People Using ADK, Representative of Russia on the ISAAC Council (Russian Federation);
• Larisa Samsonova, head of the expert group on inclusive education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Ukraine);
• Tatyana Sinitsa, psychologist, assistant professor of psychology at Belorusian State University, head of the FriMOVA institution Belarus;
• Svetlana Pupa, defectologist, lecturer at the Academy of Postgraduate Education (Belarus);
• Ekaterina Yurevich, teacher at the Institute of Inclusive Education, Belarusian State Pedagogical University (Belarus).
The event will be useful for professionals working with children and people with disabilities who do not speak, for parents and relatives who want to establish mutual understanding with their non-speaking children, future specialists in the field. The number of places for online participation is limited, so the organizers of the event reserve the right to select participants.
