The charitable public association "World Without Borders" ( WWB) expresses concern about the situation in the country, especially in terms of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of children.
WWB has always been committed to the ideas of supporting and protecting children, preventing situations of involving children in destructive behaviour and helping them in situations of risk in accordance with the best international approaches. WWB has been working in this direction for 20 years. All these years, WWB has taken serious measures to consolidate the efforts of all stakeholders in the interests of children and to systematically move towards improving their quality of life and security.
This year is fraught with many global challenges that have put on the agenda the questions of the best protection of our children. Recent events have exacerbated these issues with renewed strength.
Based on this, WWB has initiated an extraordinary expanded meeting of the National Commission on the Rights of the Child in order to consolidate the efforts of all stakeholders and develop uniform urgent measures to prevent violations of children's rights, ensure their other basic rights (to family, education, others), as well as new forms of support and protection of children. The National Commission, in accordance with the declared regulations, is replacing the ombudsman service for children in our country.
