Online Consultations with Initiative Groups

14 July 2020

July 14 an online consultation was held with the members the selected initiative groups within the framework of the project “Teen in conflict with the law: from conflict to inclusion”. The core goal of the project is to help specialists to acquire and master innovative approaches for working with children in conflict with the law. It is also expected to test the acquired methodology on the basis of specific cases and summarize the experience gained. All this comes down to the global goal of the project - ensuring the realization of the rights of the child and preventing their violation.
The consultation with representatives of initiative groups was aimed at discussing important organizational issues and planning activities for the year.
During the event we covered a number of pressing issues. A brief presentation of the project was presented: objectives, strategy, and specialized programs. Project participants learned about their tasks and responsibilities in the framework of the project, as well as about planned activities for this year. It is important to note, that the participants got acquainted with the document that provides for the implementation of the rights of the child (the Policy for the Protection of the Rights of the Child). We also pointed out the importance of implementing such a policy in each institution with which we cooperate.
At the end of the online meeting, the experts asked their questions, and then received a letter with the materials for work. We also invited participants to fill out a follow-up form. Gathering feedback information helps us learn about the difficulties that the participants are facing, tackle the issues and build effective communication with them.
Due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, consultations with specialists continue to be held online.
“World without Borders" thanks all the representatives of the initiative groups for their active participation and involvement in the project.
