On December 29, 30 and January 5 we got a chance to congratulate pupils of closed type educational institutions on the upcoming Christmas holidays!
Unfortunately, not all volunteers or contact persons could be there with us because of the pandemic. Nonetheless, we managed to invite a couple of volunteers who eagerly agreed to visit children and wish them a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! At closed type institutions in Mogilev volunteers talked about Jesus Christ and His mission and impact on their lives. Children actively engaged in discussions, shared their stories and exchanged addresses for further communication with volunteers.
At the institution for girls we found ourselves in a fairytale, that girls had prepared for us for the occasion. It was not just a single act, but an entire concert with true performers. Girls gave a truly impressive professional performance – we felt like we were in a real-life fairytale. The atmosphere was incredible – absolutely cozy and home-like. We would like to express gratitude to the organizers for putting up this special event fir us.
At the closed type institution in Krivichi we congratulated pupils in groups separately. We had a chance to communicate with pupils, tell them about the work we are carrying out and, of course, warmly congratulate pupils on the upcoming holidays. Since we had not visited pupils in Krivichi for a while, the meeting was filled with lots of conversations and discussions.
We brought individual sweet gifts to each educational institution, because Christmas and New Year should be somehow especially 'festive to taste'.
