For the first time in the State Institution "Gorodishche house-boarding institution for disabled children " this significant event took place - the marriage of the graduates of the Department of Accompanied Residing Glushenya Dmitry and Babenysheva Svetlana.

Dmitry and Svetlana came the house-boarding institution each at the age of 16 after graduating from auxiliary schools. For various reasons, thechildren could not continue their further education in professional schools. Dmitry and Svetlana stood out among the residents with their desire to realize themselves, to know and be able to do more, supported each other. And, of course, with the opening of the Department of Accompanied Residing in the institution by WWB in 2013, they were in its first numbers. They were trained to live in the society and after a long and joint work of employees, Dmitry and Svetlana were restored to their legal capacity by the decision of the court of the city of Baranovichi on October 22, 2018. They went through all the necessary formalities, received a disability group that corresponds to their capabilities and takes into account the necessary conditions for their future life and work. Young people rented an apartment in the town and since then they were working in the house-boarding institutions as hired as a cleaning lady and an auxiliary worker. In July 2020, Dmitry has received a social apartment in Brest. On July 21, 2020 Dmitry and Svetlana entered into a legal marriage and moved to live in Brest.

Their friendship and mutual help and support grew into a serious relationship. And ended with WEDDING. This is a double joy for both young people and those employees of the institution who simply supported them. And of course it also speaks about the sustainability of the project, "Normalization. Integration. Equality", which was implemented from 2013 to 2015. Because the results of it we see even now. These people has got a chance to have a normal live like others after the changing of the legislation on the proposal of WWB.

With all our hearts we wish happiness to this young couple!

And there are more such good and kind stories that lead children to an independent life in our society.
