On June 17, 2021, on the basis of Kobrin district socio- pedagogical center ( SPC), a consultation was organized for the staff of educational institutions of the town Kobrin and for the regional establishments working with adolescents in conflict, contact with the law. Particular attention was paid to working with adolescents using the methodology (risk and opportunity assessment). Some of the participants have already begun to apply this technique in their work. They talked about the advantages, about those moments that arise in an individual conversation with adolescents. The specialists answered the teachers' questions, helped to build the right goals for better work with teenagers.
The second part of the event was the acquaintance of the participants with the "Contact person" model of work. They talked about possible cooperation not only with the SPC, but also with other teachers in Kobrin. The participants of the consultation were invited to take part not only in the project, but also to become volunteers or contact specialists for communication and work with children. In total, 27 specialists from schools, colleges and SPCs took part in the event.
