Clear is When Children Understand What They are Being Told

Being an effective parent, educator for children and for young people with disabilities means being able to prepare them for independent living. This task becomes more difficult if there are problems with communication, if the child does not speak, if there are features of communicative behavior that need to be taken into account. It is just for this purpose “World without Borders” is implementing the project “Realization of Rights through Communication” in order to overcome communication barriers with the help of various systems and devices for alternative and additional communication. For the same purposes, there is a CLEAR LANGUAGE, which is promoted by our partners from BelAPDIMI as part of their project “Guide to Life!”. How to understand simple and understandable announcements, messages, instructions, express one’s opinion, understand what is being said.
After the approval of the state standard for clear language, a new stage in the development of barrier-free communication will start. Alternative communication, clear language help to understand and to be understandable, to learn, to adapt, to create a world without borders.
