One of the most important tools that make it possible to approach the provision of a decent level of care and life for children with developmental disorders in house-boarding institutions is staff training.
On 25.02.2017-26.02.2017 our colleagues from St. Petersburg charitable public organization "Perspectives" visited Gomel house-boarding institution for children with psychophysical developmental disorders and Minsk house-boarding institution for children with psychophysical developmental disorders.
The specialists became familiar with the methods and forms of work with children with SMDD existing in Belarus, and also shared their experience in this field.
An agreement was reached to hold joint training activities for house-boarding institution staff in the future.
