On May 29, the last bell rang for the nine- graders at Mogilev state special closed school.
CPA "World without Borders" team was lucky to congratulate the children on this significant day for them personally. 6 boys who graduated from the grade nine accepted congratulations, wishes and were the focus of attention during the whole day.
The festive program was intense, the guys cut the ribbons that bind them with the class teacher, expressed words of gratitude, recalled bright and positive moments from the life of the school days and their studying there. In turn, the teachers and their class teacher wished the guys all the best in their life. The parting word to all graduates was being said by the director – Dmitry Genesev. He wished them to find their own path in life, to get just what the guys themselves want. The graduate's medals, though made of cardboard were given to the teenagers by Alexander, deputy director. It looked very cute, funny and interesting, for real medals are waiting for them somewhere in the future, perhaps. WWB would like to express deep gratitude to Svetlana Kotova for a real holiday not only for the pupils, but also for us and volunteers, because after having been there, everyone felt great satisfaction. She was able to create coziness and with the guys-actors made a real concert program with the participation of the guys and everybody liked the boys who were playing on spoons.
Volunteers came to congratulate the graduates on the completion of the grade nine. As a congratulation a musical piece on saxophone was played. An important part of the program was WWB’s gratitude to the pupils who are involved in the work of the internal pupils’ parliament. It was created several years ago so that teenagers could express their wishes to the staff, prepare contests, competitions for all residents, stand for their rights, vote for the rules. It includes 7 young people and among them are 5 ministers: for sports activities, for labor and law and order, for conflict resolution, for leisure, for science and education, for the implementation of the project, for the press; 1 secretary and 1 president of the entire parliament. Each of them was awarded with commemorative prizes.
After the solemn part, the volunteers and contact persons dispersed into groups to communicate with all the pupils, to drink tea and eat delicious food. Someone of the children met new contact persons, someone met their own contact friends and spend the rest of the day just in communication.
Special thanks to the administration for the invitation to this holiday, personally to Inna, deputy director, who not only invited us, but also made it possible to become a part of this holiday.
