How to Implement the Principle of Inclusion in Education?

On January 17, 2023, the republican round table "National strategy for inclusive education and its implementation plan" was held.
The event was organized and hosted by the National Institute of Education,  Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
The event was attended by the chairman of our organization Alexei Ananenko.
The developers of the strategy presented a general description of the document, an overview of current global trends in the implementation of the ideas of inclusive education and an analysis of the state of the national education system, outlined the goals and objectives of the development of inclusive education in the Republic of Belarus in the short and medium term.
The participants made relevant comments related to ensuring the availability and quality of inclusive education, discussed the problems of organizing and improving the professional training of children and young people with disabilities, the formation of their independence and sustainability in social communication, including in the labor market, the development of an inclusive culture among all participants of educational process.
The participants of the round table formulated relevant proposals for the draft strategy.
