20 years anniversary to “World Without Borders”
Exactly 20 years ago our organization “ World Without Borders” was registered. In a slightly different way, we were planning to mark this important milestone in our development. Two decades were different in intensity, but the team of like-minded people and the desire to make the lives of the children, who are in difficult life conditions, brighter, richer and to help overcome the boundaries that life raised before them were unchanged. And this anniversary year for us, WWB’s team wants once again to demonstrate our solidarity, define new horizons and take a start to overcome them.
Unfortunately, life makes its own adjustments and poses unexpected challenges. And just now at the forefront there are our partners, colleagues, friends, and of course, the children for whom WWB is working. The situation has divided us. And, despite the understanding of the importance and vital necessity of this, it is hard to understand that we cannot do much of what should and would be desirable ... The spread of Covid-19 disease has created a dangerous situation for people around the world...
But WWB’s team wants everyone to know that we continue our work no matter what and how. We take all necessary precautions and are ready to help our target groups, even if it can only be in a virtual format. We cancelled some events and some were postponed to a later date, but we are doing our best to find new solutions! We are an innovative, creative organization and we are doing everything in our power.
We express our solidarity to all employees of the institutions, administrations, children! Everyone of you has a difficult mission now- to preserve your health, the health of your loved ones, as well as the health of all those children who are in the institutions! And we are ready to take all steps to help you do this in the best way. Please be in touch with us! Let us know how we could help you, what you need. We always think about you and would like to know if we can do anything for you?
In addition to remedies, we understand that the children as well as adults, need additional attention and communication. It would be good to jointly create and implement additional resources for communication through the Internet. For example, through discussion or communication groups in social networks or instant messengers? We are ready to help to expand the opportunities for the children to communicate with their relatives, friends and our volunteers (creating special facilities or conditions for this in the institutions). And, of course, your needs for protective means, other devices and materials that will help you overcome this difficult period with dignity, we are ready to help. Please let us know!
