On September 26-30, on the basis of the country club "Festivalny", a Forum of teenagers was held, aimed at raising peers' awareness of children's rights and team building. The event was attended by 50 people: representatives of 12 institutions participating in the UNDEF project “Protection of the Rights of Adolescents in Belarus”, 32 minors aged 12-17, who eventually became certified child rights trainers and will conduct seminars with their peers (pupils of these institutions).
General training sessions and team sessions were held, where the children delved into the topics: children's rights, recognition of violence and ways to respond to it, bullying and cyberbullying, prevention of violent behavior and the development of non-violent forms of behavior in adolescents and young people. Through interactive and game forms, visualization, discussion, the speakers managed to keep the children's interest high and the creative atmosphere. Active recreation was also organized: quests, a rope town, obstacle courses, a bathhouse, a brain slaughterhouse on teams. On the last evening (Thursday) there was a theatrical show, and on Friday the solemn closing of the forum took place with the presentation of personal certificates and suitcases of trainers on children's rights.
